    Gaffney's Wine Bar

Gaffney’s is your friendly neighborhood wine bar, where everybody knows your name, ala “Cheers”. The owners are closed on Sunday and Monday, and sometimes they’ll let patrons run the joint when the owners want more time off.

    The 3rd Corner

The variety in atmosphere provides something for all types. The 3rd Corner has a small bar for conversationalist and those waiting for their party, but I prefer to wait in the lounge area where you can sit on one of their plush leather sofas.

  • Firefly Grill & Wine Bar

Firefly is a restaurant, but they have a good wine selection. I would even say better than many wine stores. Uniqueness in wine selection is important for me and Firefly provides wines that you may not find in every store you go to.

A View from the WCWC Past

While we build up our WCWC membership, we will share dinner and wine outings around town. We will share experiences and knowledge about wine. By tasting good wine and sharing the experience we increase our understanding and appreciation of wine.

Come join us for our monthly dinner and share your wine appreciation. Just email winelover@wetcorkwineclub.com with your name, phone and the number of tasters to get involved with experiencing wine with WCWC.

The Wet Cork Wine Club came to life when Claudia and Arthur Gousby sat down one Saturday evening and began to think of ways to blend their passions for meeting new people, wine and food. They planned itineraries for tasting trips to California, Arizona, Virginia, New York, France, Florida, etc. Then it hit them. Claudia said, "Why not create a wine club where we can share good wine with great people?" Arthur joined in with, "And we can combine creative food ideas with special tasting events. It will be great." The Wet Cork Wine Club was born.
